Political Parties
The two, major party system has failed
Minor parties are just what they say they are—MINOR. Republicans and Democrats, as progressive movers of the United States, have become political fossils unwilling and/or unable to compromise and move forward in governance of these United States and effectively compete in this new, highly competitive world.
Majority rule is a rule out of the dim past. It now takes 60 votes out of 100 in the United States Senate to pass meaningful legislation
The House of Representatives has become a misnomer and a sad joke. Congressional districts in more and more states have been cut up and pasted back together again in district shapes that defy ethical logic and fair play, so as to include the right voters for the ruling party and exclude the wrong voters and those from the minority party. Democracy is dumped in the dumpster.
Is this what our Founding Fathers had in mind?

Poll taxes
Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay poll tax or other tax.
Section 2. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Ruling parties, the Republican/Tea Party in particular have done everything within their power to make voting by blacks, Hispanics and other minorities as difficult, undemocratic and onerous as possible in order to further their own agendas. While they no longer can employ the poll tax they have substituted their version of the poll tax in the form of “REQUIREMENTS” and “RESTRICTIONS”.
Requirements include presenting a drivers license or passport or some other official identification when registering to vote. None of which a vast majority of minority voters have or are aware of the need, automatically preventing them from voting.
Restrictions include reducing the number of additional voting days or voting hours or both which directly affect minority voters due to transportation and or working hours limitations.
Compromise and fairness is a thing of the past!
What are United States citizens, of all political persuasions, left with? VERY LITTLE! Critical legislation and appointments are at a virtual standstill. We are choking on the competitive dust that China stirs up as it passes us by.
It does not have to be!
Our problem is the two major parties, the Republicans and the Democrats. They have shown us that they cannot work together to move our country forward. It is time for a political upheaval. It is time to eliminate the Republican and the Democratic parties from the political scene and replace them with 3 new major parties. We will call these three, new major parties, for want of better names at the moment: ROCK - PAPER - SCISSOR
This new party arrangement is loosely based upon that game most of us learned in our childhoods: ROCK – PAPER – SCISSOR.

For the purpose of this article I will assign ideological values to each of these new parties. ROCK (fist) is moderate –PAPER (open hand) is liberal – SCISSOR (two fingers) is conservative.
HOW THE NEW, 3 PARTY SYSTEM WORKS
All legislation agreed to in committee will pass either unanimously or two parties out of three. No matter. It will pass. Minor party control would be a thing of the past.
HOW?
There are rules: ROCK breaks SCISSORS (a win for rock, a loss for scissors) – PAPER covers ROCK (a win for paper, a loss for rock) – SCISSOR cuts PAPER (a win for scissor, a loss for paper)
EVERYBODY WINS...
OR
EVERYBODY LOSES!
COMPORMISE IS FORCED TO WORK
Rock, Scissor, Paper political parties will guarantee that there will be legislative action enabling this great country to leap forward once again.
It could be 3 out of 3
If one party is stupid, 2 out of 3 would work *
* One party can be counted on to be rigidly stupid most of the time.
